              South central has changed a lot over the years.  Although some things have not changed.  There are many good things about South Central.  There are sports, activities education, etc.  The three most important events that have had the greatest impact on south central LA are The Watts riots, crack epidemic, and gang history.

             The first event that had the greatest impact on south central was the Watts riots.I say this because if it wasn’t for the people that rioted, i wouldn’t be attending Locke High School right now. This school has a great variety of sports and academics. Although many other schools may have more.  Our soccer team is doing well. Last year we made it to the championships and got 2nd place. This year we made it to semi finals and got 4th place.  Living in south central is great.

           The second event is the crack epidemic.  Many people started to go to jail because  of this.  The crime rate increased drastically.  There is more violence and such.  Back then when it first started people would do anything to get money to buy more crack.  People would brake into someone’s house and try to steal money or something with value. This led to bars being placed on windows. Others will sell there own children just for a piece of rock.  The crack epidemic really had an impact on south central.

          The third event is the gang history. There is a lot of violence and crimes due to gangs. They kill each other over territory that is not even theirs. They use a lot of drugs also. Many people are scared to live in the ghetto because they are afraid they may get shot, robbed, raped, or killed.  South central has a lot of negatives but there is also positives. There are rehabilitation centers where addicts can go and cure themselves.  There are also people that talk to gang members and try to take them away from the gang life.

           In conclusion the three events that have had the greatest impact on south central are the watts riots, crack epidemic, and gang history.  All this has contributed to what south central is today. I think that if these events would never happened south central would be a totally different place. Maybe it would be worse, more crime, more gangs, less education, or there would be more schools, less violence, less gangs, more wealth. Overall south central is a fun and cool place to be. The families and friends are really fun to hang out with. I think i wouldn’t trade this place for another. Well maybe i will…

I dont think being organized has to do with being successful. It only helps with not losing things.

    I will end this semester with fair grades.

I need to complete all my work in class.

Some additional information I can add is putting up pictures of the soccer clubs’ home field and home uniform.  Another thing I can add is how many championships the teams have won.  I can add a page such as “League results “.  Another page I can add is “Championships” which will inform how often the teams make it to the final and how many times they have won the championship.  This can all be helpful because someone that doesn’t know much about soccer can read it and understand it more.  They might even decide to watch a few games and even start playing soccer themselves because they will become interested.

Two friends and I went to U.C.S.B. for a school field trip. During lunch we wondered off to check the soccer field. When we went back there was no one there. This can affect us because we made a bad decision and we can keep on doing them. Things that we have the right to do but we shouldn’t do is say bad words, disrespect adults, be lazy.

The three things that makes a good website is games, color and social network. The social network can help people meet new people. What makes a website bad is not being organized. I will try to include color and games if its possible.
